Alan Orwick

Alan Orwick is the CEO of Dominant Strategies and co-founder of Quai Network. Over the past four years he has led the development of adversary-resilient distributed systems, shipped production blockchain infrastructure, and navigated the challenges of real-world economic coordination at protocol scale.

Before Dominant Strategies, Alan was a software engineer at Apple, where he built supply chain ETL pipelines and analytics systems. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin, where he founded Texas Blockchain in 2017 and later returned as a visiting scholar researching blockchain economics.

Alan is an IEEE-published researcher with current work spanning blockchain scaling, distributed AI inference, and agent coordination systems. His combination of production engineering experience and academic research gives him a practical perspective on building decentralized systems that work at scale.
